Politics Of Bitcoin

Lui Smyth is a researcher in UCL’s anthropology department, studying the Bitcoin community. I’ve known Lui for some time now, both of us being regulars at the London Meetups. Recently, Lui published the first results for his Politics of Bitcoin study and, we recorded a follow up interview. In the cut below we discuss: an average Bitcoiner; crisis/uncertainty and adoption; the political compass; local meetups and the trends. I hope you enjoy.
